Regardless of the expertise and solution centers they belong to (Microsoft, Oracle, Open Source, etc.), our technology enthusiasts also belong to the Techno Expertise and Solution Center (TESC) so they can develop their full potential!
Our specialists have all the experience needed to deliver comprehensive, innovative technology solutions. What's more, they leverage industry methods and best practices, based particularly on ITIL, Mehari, MOF, COBIT, Macroscope, ISO/IEC, Sarbanes-Oxley and Bill 198. Every member devotes time and effort to obtaining certifications in one or another of the center's areas of expertise:
Management tools
Our consultants have also formed focus and experimentation groups to discuss products and new technologies so they can keep their knowledge at the cutting edge!
The TESC and its partners
DMR has solid business relationships with giants such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Computer Associates, HP and McAfee, to name just a few. These agreements give TESC experts access to specialized training and top-rate technical support, and they use it to the benefit of the entire community. They can even test products before their release to market.
On a project for Quebec's Ministry of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Parks (MRNFPQ), we had to install many versions of the same software on developers' workstations so they could develop new functions while making systems easier to maintain. This task required a lot of time and equipment. TESC experts used virtualization technologies to cut costs, minimize the number of workstation installations and provide the development team with greater flexibility.
Security is a major issue for Quebec's Ministry of Revenue (MRQ). It called on our security specialists to define its security architecture and management framework. Using best practices from RBAC, Mehari and those of the ISO/IEC 27 000 family, they defined an integrated vision of security for all platforms combined. They also developed all the processes, work instructions and new methods. And of course they complied with government standards, that is, guidelines for information security and the overall digital information security architecture (AGSIN).
