Quebec’s Pension Board (Régie des rentes du Québec - RRQ) has entrusted DMR-Fujitsu with a key segment in project to modernize and maintain the development infrastructures for its Security, Data and System Support Service. The $6.9 M project started last April and is expected to end in March 2013.
The mandate involves developing and implementing architectural components that will support the migration of mainframe systems (e.g. COBOL, DB2) to the intermediate platform (PFI), running the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. BizTalk and SharePoint). It also includes maintenance and upgrade work for all intermediate and mainframe platform infrastructures.
To achieve the RRQ’s objectives, DMR-Fujitsu consultants will be developing and implementing the PFI production architecture. They will also be implementing a new IT task scheduling tool and changes in the development and production environments.
DMR-Fujitsu is pleased to be contributing to the RRQ’s IT process reengineering initiative.
